Where are they now? Brent Moss

Brent Moss played running back for the Wisconsin Badgers from 1991 to 1994. During his junior year of 1993, Moss and the Badgers compiled a 9-1-1 record and won the Big Ten Conference title and earned their first Rose Bowl berth since 1963. In 1993, Moss rushed for a total of 1,479 yards and scored 14 touchdowns and was voted the Big Ten's Player of the Year. He also helped lead the Badgers to a 21-16 Rose Bowl victory over the UCLA Bruins. Moss finished the game with 158 yards and two TDs and was named the 1994 Rose Bowl MVP.

Moss' senior season was cut short when he was arrested in November of 1994 with possession of crack cocaine. Brent was suspended from the team and sentenced to two years probation. He never played for the Badgers again, but was signed by the NFL's St. Louis Rams the following year. In 1995, Moss rushed the ball 22 times for 90 yards, his only season in the NFL. After brief stints in the World League, Arena Football League and the XFL, Moss finally gave up on football in 2000.

After a seven year hiatus from football, Brent Moss recently returned to the field for his hometown Racine Raiders, a semi-pro team in the North American Football League. Moss played in only one game for the Raiders this season on August 4th. He rushed for 15 yards on 11 carries in the 4th quarter of that 17-0 Racine victory over the Hoosier Hurricanes. Moss was held out for the rest of the season due to insurance concerns.
